Get to Know Project Manager Amy Gardiner
Amy Gardiner is more than a project manager; she’s an endlessly curious self-starter, talented developer and impressive multitasker.
And as a former barista, she’s blown us away with latte art made with the office espresso maker. What more could we ask for?
A Belleville native, Amy discovered a passion for marketing, project management and helping others through her AmeriCorps experience after college, where she worked in the Memphis mayor’s office supporting the youth services division. She built her expertise in marketing and management in a variety of industries before her curiosity led her to take evening classes in coding at Washington University in St. Louis. She worked as a developer and project manager at a website design agency before recently coming on at Atomicdust.
On top of her coding skills, Amy’s collaborative drive and ability to energize people set her apart. Her background in the hands-on aspects of both marketing and website development give her a unique handle on communicating every step of the project with both clients and our internal team.
Project managers aren’t always client-facing. But Amy has so much client service experience that she’s immediately wowed clients. She’s driven to make communication a priority to ensure everyone is aligned and confident in the process, making her an invaluable asset to any endeavor.
Away from the office, Amy loves getting outside to work on her garden—hoping to live up to her last name. This year, she’s growing an herb and pickling garden complete with peppers, eggplant and okra. If she’s not in the yard, chances are she will be on a hike at one of the many gorgeous parks around the St. Louis region with her boyfriend.
