ARCO Construction is a leading design-build construction firm, with countless projects completed nationwide over the last three decades. But the company brings even more value beyond the build itself: ARCO’s teams put additional emphasis on the process, and work to make the experience enjoyable for clients—from concept to completion.

Under one umbrella.

While the company had grown in both size and reputation, its website hadn’t kept up. ARCO Construction is part of a family of companies under the ARCO banner, and the team wanted a website design that would stand out among them. Our goal was to create a site that combined the best of the ARCO brand while highlighting ARCO Construction’s unique strengths. So we got to work.

Reputation made visual.

The well-established ARCO brand elements wouldn’t be changing, but we knew there were opportunities to use them in new ways and distinguish the ARCO Construction brand. As the user scrolls down the page, a large ARCO logo scales down, and its tagline cycles across the page—demonstrating the company’s constant forward momentum.

 

As a construction company, ARCO’s projects needed to be center stage on the homepage. A nod to one of the industry’s most iconic colors, we accented projects under construction with a bright orange frame. This highlights what’s active—keeping stakeholders updated, and showing dedication to ongoing projects.

Communicating value on every page.

One of ARCO’s key differentiators is their design-build process, which we highlighted on its own page. Compelling copy and success metrics demonstrate the ARCO advantage, while a vertical timeline highlights the entire process, from scoping to completion, as the user scrolls down the page.

 

While marketing claims are important, backing them up is even more crucial—and clients say it best. Social proof is woven throughout the site—stats, awards, quotes—all tied back to confirming ARCO’s brand promises. A series of videos on the site provide motion and simulate ARCO projects coming to life.

A way with words.

The site’s copy needed to be as unique as the ARCO experience. Powerful headlines and calls to action are incorporated throughout the site to reflect ARCO’s people-first culture. Instead of the expected, “Get Started,” persuasive, inspirational calls to action like, “What’s Your Vision? Build it with ARCO,” illustrate the collaborative, relationship-based client experience—and guide website visitors to take the next step toward becoming a client.

Built for success.

In addition to updating the site with smoother navigation and interactive visuals, we built it to grow and evolve with the team as time goes on. We utilized WordPress blocks to provide designed project and industry pages that ARCO could easily access and update themselves.

 

Since the site launched, the ARCO team has been updating content regularly, all while maintaining the site’s structure and optimized user experience. With a modern look, a smoother user experience and ability to evolve, ARCO Construction’s new site is ready to go wherever they do.
